RKEC grew from its founder, Richard Kelly, starting the business as a sole trader. Our mission has always been to provide the best service we possibly can.
Our Roots
Within the first 2 years the business grew to having 12 employees with a turnover growth of 10x. Right from the beginning, we have been comitted to continually developing our business to deliver the needs of our customers and to stay in touch with moving markets.
On the side is our vehicle fleet from back in the day, it's safe to say we've come a long way since then!
RKEC Today
In recent years, we have developed our green energy services and have invested in training and technical approvals to carry out installations of car chargers, solar panels and heat pumps.
We also gained our BAFE approval to carry out the full services of Fire Alarm installations. Then, in 2022, we committed to a higher level of quality and consistency in our service delivery by implementing ISO9001 and in mid 2025, our ISO14001.
